Purpose

In the kingdom animalia there is a great diversity of organisms classified, where some at first glance do not seem like animals commonly known. One of the unique characteristics of this Kingdom is that the organism have different parts in their body. To establish the symmetry it is necesary to divide the body into some imaginary planes.
The goal of this exercise is so you can become familiar with the planes in the body of the organism you will dissect. So you can also recognize the symmetry of several examples of Kingdom Animalia and perform a dissection to study the anatomy of animals.
You will be able to locate structures using directional terms in each organism and compare the organism according to their classification.
